Asmon ratio'd Grummz over KCD2

TL; Dr some anti-DEI site (not Kabrutus) marked KCD2 for unskillable scenes of homosexuality and a potential ban in Saudi. But like, in their response (nested quote in grummz post above) it's clear this will be some kind of history friendly depiction. My theory is some important character will be gay and probably snuff it for this or our player characters will have a chance to affect this. Imo

Wild that we're in the times of "If its gay, its woke" like come on. Tokenisms and shoehorning is bad, not actually decent or good depictions of gay, trans, etc people. Or how people got angry about a black woman in the MC movie, like yeah for sure my guy, that's the issue with the movie lmao.

That aside, excited for KCD2, really should go beat 1

Until westerners truly settle on queer is acceptable or it isn't, we will keep seeing some of the pendulum swing. The normies are fine with it when it isn't aggressively shoved in their faces, which means X fights are basically the last bastion for people who actually hate (insert label) people. I doubt Grummz would normally care one way or the other, but money. He really wants money, and he really wants people to buy his shitty, half-baked, worse than Dustborn game. At least that garbage was finished.

Dielan I think there’s a conversation about how people should avoid throwing stones. Just in general. It doesn’t ever help, and it’s now very easy for people to find your own history now.

I keep seeing positive reviews saying the game is serviceable. Which is really strange to me. Not many people are singing its praises, but most places seem to be giving it okay to good scores. Steam is buffering it with only positive or negative options.

But even the top Steam reviews aren’t exactly glowing.

SkoomaDealer I like how colorful it looks. Like they went all in on high fantasy, yet the dialogue in the game seems to play it safe

I think much of the praise revolves around “it’s not Veilguard.”

Say what you will about the quality of the released games and lack of hype for the upcoming, this is a flex over Sony for sure
